Ninoy?

"The Filipino is worth dying for."
- Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino

Such an immortal and powerful words from our very own hero Ninoy Aquino, pity!, that children now a days do not know who or what ninoy did for our country.

In one of the late night news on television, i heard a person from govt. saying that children right now dont know the value of what ninoy did but only they associate him as father of kris aquino-yap and the husband of the former president corazon 'cory' aquino. After hearing those words, i ask myself is filipino really worth dying for? am I worth dying for?

Look what happened, decades has past and still were in the depth of both winding politics and economy, did we learn something out of the things our national heroes did? how many heroes do we need to be able to address the issues those people who died fighting for our country?

One of my professor said "it is noble for a country to have a hero but it's a pity for a country who needs a hero."

i hope time will come that we will realize all the mistakes we did and we will move on for the progress and attain stability both in politics and economy of our country!

Mabuhay ka Pilipino!!!!
