Whirlwind

A lot of things happened this morning!

I experienced a whirlwind of emotions!

Our thesis approval sheet were already been signed earlier by Prof. Ernest Vera Cruz, Prof. Henry Pascua and Prof. Florenda Frivaldo and now ready for reproduction of three copies and hard bounding. Hopefully, we will be able to get Dean Melly Paraiso's signature by Tuesday for the approval sheet and clearance!!!

I would like to thank Analyn Bandagoza, Michelle Real and Marie Afreel Visaya for getting our thesis from Prof. Pascua on my behalf.

To Ms. Jezaline Clemente, the only madam of our class, get well soon!!! We will always support and pray for you!!!

Get well soon

I was saddened by the news that a good friend of mine, Jezaline Clemente, was diagnosed of having a Leukemia.

I heard she's undergoing chemotherapy right now. I do hope her body will respond positively on the therapy.

We really pray for her fast recovery.

Jeza,

Get Well Soon!!!

Ending

After editing our thesis (proofread by Prof. Mayrena), my head ache and I felt dizzy. Maybe it's because of the stress or frustrations of aiming to finish this thesis.

Hopefully, the problem with regards to this thesis will end soon!!!

I'm sorry for not being able to post an article yesterday because I'm not feeling well!!!

Yesterday afternoon I received our proofread thesis and I already finished editing the thesis earlier. Hopefully, the panelist will sign our approval sheet tomorrow!!!

In addition, Ma'am Laura the assistant of Dr. Melly Paraiso, the Dean of College of Economics, Finance and Politics, told us to come back tomorrow because we may get our COC short for Certificate of Candidacy!!!

Pet Society

I am starting to get addicted to pet society in Facebook to the point that logging to it became a part of my daily routine.

At first, I just want to increase my paw points (level) to beat other users but as to what I observed logging to facebook became a daily habit that I am afraid I cannot stop.

May you rest in peace!!!

Let's pray for the eternal repose of my relative:

KUYA VHEEJAY

who died in Abu Dhabi this morning!

May his soul rest in peace!!!

Clearance!!!

I already got seven signatures (autograph as I used to call it!!!) out of the ten required in the clearance but the hard part is that the remaining three will be difficult due to some pending requirements our class need to pass like the thesis paper we worked with months ago need to be proofread and signed by the members of the panel on our defense and our thesis adviser. The thing here is that we don't know where to find the following professors!!!

A memorandum is issued earlier regarding the commencement exercise that will be held on May 8, 2009 at the Philippines World Trade Center along Roxas Boulevard. The attire of the women will be a simple dress without collar, black shoes, and dark stockings while white or pastel color polo with bow tie or necktie, dark colored pants, black shoes and dark colored socks for the men.

I already paid for the fees with regards to graduation. Hopefully there will be no additional fees!!!

I've got to go to school and do some paper works regarding our thesis on Monday so that Dean Paraiso will sign our clearance!!!

What a Lucky Day!!!

Finally, my name is now posted on the tentative list of graduating students which means I already got my clearance form and pink cards!!!

After getting our pink cards we proceed to MOA (short for SM Mall of Asia) to celebrate the Earth Day!!!

At first. we thought the celebration will not start because of the rain but with patience the rain stops and the program started.

The program was very informative and fun because of some games on the side wherein my classmates participated and got some prices!!!

The program enables the children to be aware of the importance of the environment on their life!!!

I plan to go to school for the clearance and pay for the graduation fees!!! Hopefully, we'll be able to finish everything tomorrow!!!

I did not go to school earlier because I woke up very late in the morning that's why I have to go to school tomorrow to check if my name is posted on the tentative list of graduates. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my pink cards tomorrow!!!

I saw my grandfather on the news earlier!!!

The dilemma

Last week, Romina, Vianka, and I came to an agreement to go to school on Tuesday (which is supposedly Tomorrow!) but upon hearing the news about the celebration of earth day in Mall of Asia on Wednesday I'm now having a second thought if I will go to school tomorrow or not?

I really wish someone could help me solve this dilemma!!!

YEARBOOK

I just finished writing the petition letter regarding our long awaited yearbook in high school.

I need to wait for a week to confirm everyone's affirmation regarding the list of petitioners then another week for the rechecking of the letter.

After the rechecking final draft will be printed and sent to the alma matter FLA.

I hope they will address the issue immediately!!!

Chichi

I dreamed of my father calling my name!!!

He called my name many times as if there is an urgent matter we will talk about!

I know everyone's confused because they knew my parents already passed away!

Yes! It is indeed true that they already passed away!

You know I'm not frightened that my deceased father tried to talk to me in my dreams

but it was more of a fulfillment that I was able to hear and remember my father's voice!!!

Maybe he just want me to remember that his birthday is coming!!!

Specifically on May 7 right before my graduation day!!!

Papa,

O-tanjoubi Omedetou Gozaimasu!!!

NO ELecTriCity

I woke up at almost 12 am midnight feeling so exhausted and dehydrated!!! At first, I thought I'm just having a dream or so but as minutes pass by reality bites and I realized that the whole village had no electricity in short there is a total black out.

It was really difficult to go to sleep because the weather is very hot considering that the season in the Philippines today is SUMMER!!!

Thanks God!!!

After an hour the electricity came back and I lay down on my bed and go to sleep!!!

Pink Cards

I'm kinda disappointed this morning because I woke up as early as 4 a. m. and traveled from Manila to Cavite just to find out that our names are still not posted on the tentative list of graduates!!!

Graduation Picture

I wake up early this morning to catch the last fx (a mode of transportation) that will travel from our village to manila. Upon reaching Manila, I first went to my grandmother's house just to kill time and visit my relatives their. When the clock strikes 11:30, I immediately went to school via Ferry which travels in the very famous Ilog Pasig (Pasig River).

In P. U. P., I'm amazed that everyone is very busy!!! Some of my classmates, specially the girls are busy putting their make-ups, straightening or curling their hairs while the guys are occupied arranging their clothes and hair-do.

Their was a questionnaire distributed to everybody before the picture taking started. Their they ask, What is your personal motto in life? and due to time pressure the only answer I came up to is:

"What is Beauty if the Brain is Empty!!!"

Not bad! isn't it?

We waited for quite some time before the management told us that it's now our turn! First, we went to the PAO wherein it already became a parlor because the make-ups, retouch and hair arrangements were done. Then, we went to the studio and took our graduation pictures. After they took the pictures we went to jollibee to have our dinner. Unfortunately, Ana weren't able to accompany us because she needs to go home very early.

In Jollibee, I ordered my favorite spicy jolly chicken joy and large coke (YUMMY!!!!). While we are having our breakfast, a male service crew came and asked for the cellphone numbers of my friend, but because those two are already taken they just play a prank on the crew and gave the numbers of their cousins (SO NAUGHTY!!!).

After eating and a series of chit-chat we all decided to go home!!!

From Ernie T.

This are the posts from a very good friend of mine Ernie Talaro for his friends in his account in facebook:

"We are friends

and I do like to pass the day with you

in serious and inconsequential chatter.

I wouldn't mind washing up beside you,

dusting beside you,

reading the back half of the paper

while you read the front.

We are friends

and I would miss you,

do miss you and think of you very often.”

“Even though we've changed

and we're all finding our own place in the world,

we all know that

when the tears fall

or the smile spreads across our face,

we'll come to each other

because no matter where

this crazy world takes us,

nothing will ever change

so much to the point where

we're not all still friends.”

“This is my wish for you:

Comfort on difficult days,

smiles when sadness intrudes,

rainbows to follow the clouds,

laughter to kiss your lips,

sunsets to warm your heart,

hugs when spirits sag,

beauty for your eyes to see,

friendships to brighten your being,

faith so that you can believe,

confidence for when you doubt,

courage to know yourself,

patience to accept the truth,

Love to complete your life.”

E-HEADS

As I enter one of the prominent mall earlier to buy some stuff, a very familiar song started to play. It's the song "KAILAN" of Eraserheads.

I am very proud to admit that I'm a die hard fun E-heads (short for Eraserheads)!!!

I really wish the band to hit the concert scene after the groundbreaking concerts in The Fort and Mall of Asia in Pasay!

Long Live ERASERHEADS!!!

WEekly PLan

My plans for this week will be as follows:

MONDAY - go to school
- seek for the long awaited pink card
- inquire about the necessary requirements for the enrollment in Law School
- go to my lola's house (still undecided yet)

TUESDAY - go to my lola's house for my make up and stuff for the pictorial
- go to school for graduation pictorial

WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY - go to school (depending on the result of the processing of pink cards on Monday)

SATURDAY - doing some house chores (definitely!!!)

At this point

After watching earlier the news about the bar passers in GMA website, I can't help but think about my future. Will I be able to finish law school? Will I be able to pass the bar exam?

I really hope and pray that all the answer to this questions is YES.

At this point of after passing the entrance examination there is no going back now!!! I've got to move forward! do my best! and seek for GOD's grace!!!

entries

Due to lack of things to do, I decided to read all my previous entries here.

Until now, I still can't believe that I'm the one who wrote those entries (with the exceptions of the quotations and some articles lifted in another site).

I am very amazed that I was able to write those entries!!! It is as if its not me!!!

I now know that I progress in terms of my writing skills!!!

The WebSite

Finally, I started reading the diary of Aya Kito, the girl diagnosed of having an incurable disease.

Actually, finding a copy of the diary in the internet is very difficult!

The translated version of the are all in Cantonese. How will I able to read that? I only knew how to read Hiragana, Katakana, and a little of Kanji!!! I looked for the original copy of the diary written in Nihonggo (hoping that I can find even one written in Romaji), still, I found none. Until I found the translated copy of the diary in english in the link attached to the article of Ichi Rittoru No Namida in wikipedia site.

The translation is very good even though there are some mispelled words but it's alright!!!

If you want to read the diary and be moved by Aya Kito, just go to this website:

My mistake

i made a huge mistake by posting a comment on Kuya Fidel's blog "theelectronicink"!!! I thought the blog is owned by Monica Ramirez a classmate and good friend of mine!!!

I found the blog very amusing!

Some of the posts that I already read is about debate!?

Well, nothing to complain about that Kuya Fidel is a well known person in our university when it comes to Parliamentary Practice and Debate (sounds like my subject in 2nd year!!!).

I also remember that he was our adjudicator during our Sophomore Debate. Unfortunately, I was just able to make it in the preliminaries. Well, I have to admit I really suck in Public Speaking more so in public debate!!!

I heard from Bandam (Analyn Bandagoza) that he (Kuya Fidel) is now studying in the University of the Philippines!

the only words that I can say to him right now are:

Good Luck!!!

and

God Bless!!!

Commemorating the Seven last Words

Here are the list of the seven last words of our Lord Jesus Christ before he died in the crucifix:

1. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” ----Matthew 27:46

2. “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” ----Luke 23:34

3. “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise" ----Luke 23:43

4. “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit” ----Luke 23:46

5. “Dear Woman, here is your son!” and “Here is your mother!” ----John 19:26-27

6. “I am thirsty” ----John 19:28

7. “It is finished!” ----John 19:30

Lovely Complex

I watched Lovely Complex earlier. It is a jdorama short for japanese drama starring Koike Teppei and Ema Fujisawa.

The story is very good. A light romantic movie tackling about physical differences specifically the height differences.

I recommend this to everybody who wanted to fall in love!!!

Safe Trip!!!

Ate Margie together with her kids (my neighbors) are going to Singapore tomorrow to visit her husband who works their as a computer analyst (as far as I know this is his line of specialty).

I wish them a fun and safe trip!!!

I just wish that my parents are still alive!!!

but I know wherever they are, they are happy and at peace!!!

Cleaning the House!!!

I really can't believe that I still have a lot of energy after doing some household chores this morning.

I still can say that I'm good in multitasking! Can you imagine? I'm doing the laundry while cleaning my room and the main corridor, arranging the clothes, changing the curtains and etc.

The house looks more refreshing and inviting right now!

I can now accept some visitors!!!

Bonding Time

Today is such a wonderful day!

Even though I don't get the pink card earlier, since I got a chance to go out and bond with my friends namely:

Romina Berja,
Iola Vianka Pinon,
and
Ana Lorena Ramos

is more enjoyable than staying in the university waiting for the release of the tentative list of graduates.

We went to SM Center point in Sta. Mesa. There, we ate our yummy lunch and sung a lot of songs in Karaoke Hub!!!

I really did have a lot of fun!!!

Irresponsibility!?

I went to my high school alma matter Fiat Lux Academe this morning to get the report card of my brother.

To my surprise, my former teacher was not able to give the report card because my brother failed to comply with his clearance.

I ask my brother how did it happen? wherein all along he keep on telling me he is already cleared in his deficiencies and that the only missing signature in his clearance form is in the subject Science which he further explained that he already complied with the requirements and that all he need to do is to pass the index card containing the proof that he already passed the said requirements.

To proceed with my story, all the index cards of their class in the said subject were handed down to his classmate for her to secure and took and extra care.

But this morning I learned that the girl lost the index cards including my brother's and due to that incident I started to loose my patience.

I already get annoyed because the girl didn't even bother to talk to the teacher and apologize to her classmate and to their parents who look like a fool waiting to recieve the report cards of their children.

I keep on telling myself not maybe its not her fault and its just an accident but still she should have the initiative to do something considering she is the one who lost the cards. She should be responsible enough!!!

She should be more careful in handling important documents like that its not as if it is a trash. If she is working in the private company for example and she lost an important document it will cause her a lot of trouble like loosing her job as well as her credibility.

My On-Line Diary

Due to the influence of the life story of Aya Kitō, the girl who suffered from an incurable disease, I decided to always write something about what is happening to me everyday because this is the only proof that I live. Though, it's not a diary notebook like the one used by Aya, still, due to the fast progress in technology I consider this blog as my online diary!!!

1 Litre no Namida

I don't like watching movies with a drama theme because I always got depressed after watching it but the jdorama "One Litre of Tears" is an exemption.

I already got a copy of the television series a couple of months ago but I decided not to watch it upon learning through my research in wikipedia that this series is about a girl who suffers from an incurable disease. I thought this is just another series that discuss about the hardship of being sick not being able to do something and eventually saying your farewell to the world. I really do hate death and saying goodbye!!!

A week ago, I saw a commercial notifying the public that the series is going to be shown in GMA7. Since then, I got a bit bothered and coming to a decision that I'll watch the series.

From the first episode up to the last, I can't stop myself from crying and admiring the girl and the people around her for being strong at the trying moments of their life. Indeed, the girl is really amazing!!!

I believe that death is part everyone's life. Nobody is created immortal. I myself lost some people very dear to me! and being able to watch this series gives me a lot of courage to move and and do my best everyday!!!

solved and unsolved

My problem with what to wear for the graduation picture is already solved!!! I've got a chance to get some glimpse of the notification and it says for girls we have to wear v-neck blouse. Funny, I thought we have to wear something more striking than a blouse like a dress or something!!!

The only problem we all have now is the releasing of the pink cards!!! Hopefully our names will be released by Tuesday so that we will be able to get our pink cards!!!
