Pain

losing someone you love either through death or break ups is really painful.

I've felt this pain a lot of times from the death of my grand father, then my best friend going to province because of family problem and the recent one the death of my parents.

during those times i wanna ask God why? but the only answer I've got is the words of my mom that God will never give you a problem that you cannot surpass. Also, If got get something or someone special to you it means he got more wonderful things to give you.

though in this trying moments of our life our faith in him is being tested, how much do you love him...

as for me, until now I lament for the death of my parents but whenever I miss them, silently I pray to God to open the doors of heaven so that my parents will be in his kingdom, the kingdom wherein only joy and happiness you'll only feel.

to the people who lost there love ones do not lose hope you'll be able to overcome this trials!!!

always remember:

Dreams

"You are born to fly, and in dreams you discover the soul has wings"

--Robert Moss, Dreamgates

"Virgo, the Virgin"

23 Aug - 22 Sep (31 day span)

The Sun in Virgo represents Analytical and practicality.

Embodiment of the individual in the world; problems of adjustment dealing with the world and others; perfection of your approach to life, development of mundane skills; ability to change to adapt to life better.

Service, helping, self-effacing; perfectionist, always seeking to improve, efficiency; practical, functional, interested in crafts and projects; true to self in a simple, unassuming manner; reacts to defeats and setbacks by pulling back and altering approach, lacks confidence in the face of opposition; lives up to duties and responsiblities; interested in maintaining the body as a fit vehicle; diet, exercise, herbs, etc.; aware of conflicts with others, of the give and take required by life.

Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac. Virgos are born between the period of August 23 to September 23. The ruling planet of Virgo is Mercury. The symbolic representation of a Virgo is a Virgin, the embodiment of purity.
Virgo is the only zodiacal sign represented by a female—a female who is creative, delicate, lovely and young. Virgos are considered to be emotionally cold. They can suppress their genuine feelings, and on the whole are non-committal and distrustful in personal relationships.

Virgos are adept in concealing their real intentions and apprehensions and try to appear matter of fact, non-demonstrative, quiet, and reserved. This lends them a unique charm and dignity. Even male Virgos are usually somewhat effeminate. They can be technically perfect and affectionate spouses, but not passionate lovers. They do not open up their heart and show their genuine love or compassion for their mates and may appear aloof and cold.

A Virgo born under the influence of Mercury is known to be petty, selfish, picky, discriminatory, critical, fussy, worrying, harsh, shrewd, mobile, and argumentative and these traits of his personality can tempt him to be dishonest in business too.

Virgos are realistic, practical, meticulous, diligent, analytical, logical, and methodical in their approach. They enjoy thinking more than acting. Constant thinking sharpens their brains and endows them with a computer-like memory that is massive, accurate and logical. The mental ingenuity of a Virgo can clearly analyze the most intricate issues. They have a keen eye for detail and due to this thoroughness, they sometimes tend to lose focus and ignore the larger aspects. This can delay the execution of their projects. They are easily discouraged by failures. They do not trust themselves and distrust others too and therefore, are afraid to take responsibility. They are happy to follow rather than lead.

Virgos have a great flair for arts and languages. They use the language with grammatical and etymological correctness without any literary tastes. They have good memory for quotations and can express themselves extremely well.

Virgo is the sign of harvest. Harvesting also involves separating grains from the chaff or the useless from the useful, and this by itself is a process of purification. A constant practice of this activity percolates down into the sub-conscious mind purifies the soul. This explains why Virgo has a Vestal virgin as it symbol.

Though logic and rational thinking are important, Virgos need to work on the emotions of love, trust and friendship, to lead a more fulfilling life. Many events in life occur which cannot be explained by cold calculative analysis. Constant distrust and aloofness may create multiple problems. Virgos must learn to live and adjust with others with trust and confidence. They should accept others as they are and not as they want them to be. The negative aspects of the zodiac can cause a lot of tensions and problems.

Origin of Birthday

It is thought the large-scale celebration of birthdays in Europe began with the non-Christian cult of Mithras, which originated in Persia, and was spread by soldiers throughout the Roman Empire. Such celebrations were uncommon previously so practices from other contexts such as the Saturnaliawere adapted for birthdays.

Because many Roman soldiers took to Mithraism, it was distributed widely and its influence was spead throughout the empire until it was supplanted by Christianity.

Delaying Tactics

I already received the copy of the petition for plaintiff of group 1 earlier wherein it is supposed to be yesterday but because of all the delaying tactics they conducted so that we will not be able to convene to discuss their petition. But still, upon receiving the petition I read it and saw some errors not just the grammar but the application of laws...

hopefully the honorable court will grant our prayer...

In view of the foregoing, I now end this article. ( acting like a lawyer!? hmmm...)

The Art of War

These are some of the famous lines in the book "the Art of War" of Sun Tzu that I liked:

**It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

**For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

**The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities... It is best to win without fighting.

**What the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease.

**Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate.

**A military operation involves deception. Even though you are competent, appear to be incompetent. Though effective, appear to be ineffective.

**Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

**He who knows when he can fight and when he cannot will be victorious.

**It is best to keep one’s own state intact; to crush the enemy’s state is only second best.

**Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.

**The general who advances without coveting fame and retreats without fearing disgrace, whose only thought is to protect his country and do good service for his sovereign, is the jewel of the kingdom.

**The ultimate in disposing one's troops is to be without ascertainable shape. Then the most penetrating spies cannot pry in nor can the wise lay plans against you.

**There is no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare.

**If words of command are not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood, the general is to blame. But if his orders are clear, and the soldiers nevertheless disobey, then it is the fault of their officers.

**A leader leads by example not by force.

**Build your opponent a golden bridge to retreat across.

**You cannot stop innovation.

**The expert in battle seeks his victory from strategic advantage and does not demand it from his men.

**Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.

10 days

1o days to go before I get 20 years old!!!

Fast pace

The following days will be exciting and in fast pace not only because my birthday is coming up but also the preparations on our seminar in voters education will be tough and hectic as well as the cases on our moot court is already distributed.

Speaking of moot court, being a lawyer is one of my frustrations that's why this activity will be fun-filled, nerve-wrecking and heart pounding experience for me.

Earlier, I've read the facts of the Compromis, it is hard topic, but I'm sure with the cooperation of everyone in the team we are going to win the case.

Seeking...

The continuous rain in Campostela Valley resulted to two incidents of landslides which causes the death of constituents of Campostela and some missing person. In this regards, I seek for a prayer for the souls of the persons caused by the calamity and to their families. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love in any form of incidents may it be a natural disaster or a felony. in this trying times, God is the only person that will help us...

Always remember that God will never give us a problem that we cannot surpass...

Waking Up

here in the Philippines, family is very important as well as the execution of the duties and responsibilities binding it. that's why today, ive got to wake up at 3:00 in the morning (which is supposedly I wake up around 6:30-7:00 am if i dont have anything to do) to cook food for the lunch of my brother because he is going to attend an educational tour or what is popularly known field trip.

Too Unfortunate

Unfortunate incident happen to me awhile ago, my supposed to be rest day tomorrow is now postponed because my classmate just texted me that we will have a class on intro. to law this coming saturday., so, i have to review all the cases and the revised penal code tomorrow.....

Mandate for Greatness

  • The Filipino, it seems, has lost his soul, his dignity, and his courage.

We have come upon a phase of our history when ideals are only a veneer for greed and power, (in public and private affairs) when devotion to duty and dedication to a public trust are to be weighted at all times against private advantages and personal gain, and when loyalties can be traded.

…Our government is in the iron grip of venality, its treasury is barren, its resources are wasted, its civil service is slothful and indifferent, its armed forces demoralized and its councils sterile.,

We are in crisis. You know that the government treasury is empty. Only by severe self-denial will there be hope for recovery within the next year...

This nation can be great again. This I have said over and over. It is my articles of faith, and Divine Providence has willed that you and I can now translate this faith into deeds.
-----------Mandate for Greatness,” First Inaugural Speech of President Ferdinand E. Marcos, 30 December 1965.

famous anonymous

Leadership is the other side of the coin of loneliness, and he who is a leader must always act alone. And in acting alone, accept everything alone.

Done?

well, I can now say that all my projects are done. Imagine, I made 3 policies yesterday, including the module. Am I sick, definitely no...

it's just it feels good after accomplishing everything and as if i want to ask for more.,

some may say I'm crazy but hey!? It's school stuff so i am oblige to do it no matter what...

now, all i've got to do is take a rest and wait for another project to come...

I hope another difficult project will come so that it will be challenging and worth it to finish...
