Dragonology

The Year of the Ox begins on 26th January 2009.

This will be a year of enriched personal relationships. Family life is predominant throughout 2009 and will be more harmonious than perhaps was expected.

For the Dragon, the year of the Ox brings a busy, active and demanding time. You may have been hoping to enjoy a more relaxed and easy year but almost immediately you will find that a lot is being expected from you. Both from your family and loved-ones and those outside your immediate circle.

Career Trends for Dragons in 2009

A new job may be more difficult than you had expected and although you will be of the opinion that you have “made your bed and now you must lie in it” this will cause problems as you try to continue with other more personal obligations.

Problems that look minor and inconsequential could turn out to be complicated and time-consuming to fix. Little things that go wrong at the start of the year sound costly to repair but there is a note of caution in your stars. Be advised that if you are calling in a plumber, electrician or builder, take the trouble to get more than one estimate for the work. Better still choose someone who has a reputation for doing a good, clean job at a reasonable price. Deceit is in the air so do beware.

Friendships and Romance for Dragons in 2009

Friendships of all descriptions will benefit during the first three months of the year if you make a little extra effort to be both polite and understanding. Sometimes it is not what you say to others that’s important but the way that you say it.

Remember that your body has a language all of its own and this could be contradicting the words that come out of your mouth. Honesty and sincerity will do a lot to bring you closer together and to firm up your closest relationships.

April is a good month to iron out the wrinkles in a tense friendship or recently begun romance. There is potential for growth in this relationship but you must both be willing to meet each other at least sixty percent of the way. This is also a time when you should keep your sights firmly fixed on your personal hopes and objectives.

Mid-Year Trends for Dragons 2009

You are challenged to come up with some new ideas within your professional environment as May begins. A new approach is what’s needed to breathe fresh life into a project that has seen better days. Stretch your mental powers and you will be amazed at what your mind conjures up. Not only this but whatever the outcome for the job, personally, you will gain a lot from the experience.

You will want something different out of your days during the middle of the year and this suggests that ordinary household routines and even regular career demands will be avoided. You will be glad to make the most of anything that crops up from out of the blue that provides the escape you are looking for.

Relationships too seem to lack the excitement you crave and this suggests that you might be travelling further afield or making efforts to widen your social circle.

End of the Year Trends 2009 for Dragons

As you can imagine, you might not get your own way all of the time and September in particular, is a month when there may be a number of misunderstandings. However, opportunities as September ends will take you down some unfamiliar roads and there will be a lot of excitement in store at your journey’s end.

Problems in the family could arise during the last three months of the year because you find it difficult to fit all commitments into your days. Responsibilities are heavy and therefore you might find yourself relying more and more on someone close to help you out. At first, they won’t mind. But if such a situation continues for more than two months, an ultimatum will be offered. You must find a way to balance work and social responsibilities with family commitments.

Generally, your family will be supportive throughout the year and you wil be able to rely on them, no matter what they might say to the contrary.
